Respectful, efficient and kind

W.Uden arranged the funeral for my late father, during the pandemic. I cannot praise them highly enough. They were helpful, kind and efficient. Funerals are always stressful, and especially at the moment, but they removed a lot of the stress from me, and enabled the family to say goodbye in a dignified way. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

I just wanted to write to say “Thank You” for the way your funeral director conducted the funeral yesterday for Mum (Mrs Joan Lawrence). Having been to quite a few funerals BUT it was the first time I have heard the funeral director say to the bearers – careful with Joan & ready to move with Joan, it made it more like you had known Joan for a number of years and wanted to give her the dignity, care and professionalism she deserved. You also gave us Matthew Neil as the celebrant and he also led the service as if he had also known Joan, he sourced all the music with additional choir for the hymns to which we were all grateful. During this lockdown period we as a family spread out between Sidcup, Southampton & the Isle of Wight did not have the chance to all meet together to discuss everything but we did everything over the phone, text & email and anything we wanted was not a problem with any of you. Once again Thanks for looking after us all and for the professionalism you gave for what is a very difficult time for the family.

I wanted to write a note on behalf of myself and my children. After the brilliant way that you managed my dads funeral coming to you to arrange my wife's funeral was an easy choice. I was in no doubt that we would receive the same high level of service. However I must say that we received this and more, Spencer and the team did an absolutely amazing job, in the heat and surrounded my mourners. They made such a difference to us that day, Spencer is incredibly good at what he does, efficient, but compassionate, him and the team are a credit to you. Also a thank you to you and team for organising the details and sending your driver to collect things. As a company director myself I can only assume you are very proud of your team.
