Nothing was too much trouble and they listened to every wish and executed everything with minute detail.The class, dignity and care given by all at Udens has truly blown us away and made a tragically sad situation bearable and allowed us to celebrate her life beautifully.Pure perfection every step of the way and the aftercare is just as personal, genuine and touching. Adam (the manager) put us at ease and made such a sad situation as easy as possible to deal with. Adam really cares for those he looks after and their families. He pulled out all of the stops and brought Mum into his care as soon as he could and quicker than we expected. Knowing Mum was being looked after by him and his team gave us a lot of comfort at a very distressing time. Adam was at the end of the phone to answer any questions and went out of his way to accommodate any requests which we had.The celebrant which we were put in touch with by Adam was also a lovely man and did an amazing job.On the day, Uden did an amazing job for Mum. We knew exactly what would happen and when and everything ran perfectly. Spencer was in charge on the day and looked after us so well and was so gentle with Mum.This review could go on and on as there are so many things that could be mentioned.All in all we cannot recommend Uden enough. I don’t live in Kent, so was aware it could be difficult to arrange remotely, especially as Mum also needed moving back home to Kent from my location. Nothing was too much trouble, we managed to arrange everything via emails and phone calls with Allan and Adam. The communication was excellent throughout. Lee looked after us on the day and I really appreciated the phone call from him, on the morning of the funeral, to ensure I had no last minute questions or concerns.Everyone looked immaculate, as did the cars and being able to choose coloured ties instead of black was a lovely touch. The care we received from Lee and the team throughout the day, felt really personalised. They took such great care of my mum, and the way they directed the service from start to finish on the day of her funeral (27.8.24) was something to be admired! All the staff were so kind and respectful and gave us lots of time. It was an extremely dignified process. I would always strongly recommend this company to anyone who needs it in future. I asked Allan if he could arrange for a hand cast to be taken from my mum, that sadly we didn't get round to doing whilst she was still with us. He agreed, and I dropped the kit into the branch. He explained that it was quite a difficult process and something they hadn't done before, but the specialist did it beautifully and we are eternally grateful that we will have her beautiful little hand cast with us forever.
